LEICESTER Speedway would like to send our compliments of the festive season to everyone associated with the club.
2019 has been a sensational year at the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena, culminating in both the Watling JCB Lions and the Roger Webster Lion Cubs securing major trophy doubles.
This was a true team effort involving all riders, staff, sponsors and supporters, and we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Co-promoter Stewart Dickson said: “It’s a shame in many ways that 2019 is coming to an end, but we can look back on it as our greatest-ever year to date.
“No doubt we will go into 2020 with expectations higher than in previous seasons, because once you get a taste of success it’s natural to want and expect more – and that’s probably something we haven’t experienced before at Leicester.
“We know our rivals will try to come after us next season… and we welcome the chase!”
